How much does the system cost to run?
One of the most common questions we get asked is how much it costs to heat a home with hydronic underfloor heating. Thanks to the use of heat pump technology and concrete’s natural ability to hold heat, our system provides you with the least expensive running costs possible for whole-home heating.
In general,
Installation (upfront, one-off):
- $150–$400 per square metre for the underfloor system (pipework, manifold, thermostats, labour)
- Plus $3,000–$10,000+ for the heat source (air-to-water heat pump or boiler);
Running cost will be $1.12-$$2.20/sqm according to the 2020 Winter Customer Survey*.
